Fulcrum Engineering & Technical are acting as a Employment Business on behalf of our Clients in the Sible Headingham, Braintree areas

Must be happy & prepared to work as required on

Sites in local areas such as Sudbury & Chelmsford and Sites with longer Travel or may require staying Mon to Thu overnight Lodging paid & meals & travel times etc.

We are recruiting personnel at all levels and covering similar Steel Welding Fabrication & Steel Erection roles depending on applicants skill sets & experience.

Working in the Fab Shop plus some Site Work as required.

Steel Fabricator Welders will be more involved with fabrication work plus higher spec welding work with MIG & TIG. Work on mild steel, ali metal on angle, box, channel ideally able to weld pipe. Covering heavy steel building frames & work plat forms, stairs, hand rails etc.

Sheet Metal Fabricator Welders & Welder Fabs working on the fabrication from engineering drawings & welding angle, box, tube to high spec finish. Welders TIG mainly working mainly on welding sheet metal 1.5 - 4 mm stainless or mild steel, ali, mild steel angle, box ideally able to weld pipe & tube with TIG or MIG.

Also semi skilled applicants can apply if they can cover most of the work depending on their skill set

Quals/Skills = Able to fabricate & weld with MIG mainly & some TIG depending on skills levels, or weld with MIG and some TIG

Ideally C & G or NVQ Welding Fabrication or Sheet Metalwork

Ideally - Use Tube Bending Machine & Press Brake & other Work Shop Machinery & Tools

Hours = 0730 to 1630 or 1730 40 to 50 hours Mon to Fri as required

Also 0600 or 0700 to 1330 Sat as required

Term = Temp Contract 6 to 13 weeks & Temp to Perm 13 weeks with good chance of perm role after 13 full weeks

Perm = £19 + Hr Basic May be some direct perm roles if the applicant is working and has to give notice

Pay Temp Contract = £24.50 + per hr up to 60 hrs £28 + per hr Sat Depending on Skills/Quals
