We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Parts Advisor in Wetherby, West Yorkshire.

This is an excellent Parts Advisor opportunity for experienced automotive parts professionals seeking a stable and rewarding role within a rapidly expanding company.

Duties of a Parts Advisor

  • Manage inventory and stock levels efficiently to ensure availability
  • Collaborate effectively with the sales team and workshop colleagues
  • Process parts in and parts out, including warehousing and dispatch
  • Stay informed on industry trends, products, and accessories
  • Assist with general warehouse duties and stock control
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients
  • Support other business operations as required, demonstrating flexibility
  • Maintain accurate records using inventory management systems
  • Ensure health and safety guidelines are adhered to, including manual handling and lifting procedures

Requirements of a Parts Advisor

  • Proven experience in an automotive parts advisory role
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Warehouse experience is advantageous
  • Ability to lift up to 30kg safely and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems would be beneficial
  • Automotive industry knowledge and enthusiasm for learning are essential
