Working alongside our experienced nursing and multidisciplinary team, you will provide treatment-room care and support the delivery of high-quality preventive and long-term-condition services. Your duties will be introduced according to your existing competence and an agreed development plan.
- Wound assessment and dressings progressing to compression therapy when appropriately trained and competent
- Adult and childhood immunisations when trained, competent and appropriately authorised
- Cervical screening after completion of the recognised training and competency pathway
- Venepuncture and specimen handling
- Diabetes work-ups and agreed pre-review checks
- 12-lead ECGs and routine physiological observations
- Health promotion, accurate clinical records and timely escalation of concerns
