A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and analytical individual to join North Somerset Council as a Health and Care Intelligence Specialist Apprentice. The postholder will join our Business Intelligence team, who are responsible for providing information, data and analysis across the whole council.
In this role, you will be working as part of a team of intelligence specialists in Business Intelligence and in partnership with the public health team. Together, you will develop the range, quality and availability of public health intelligence to support the information needs of the Public Health team and its partners within North Somerset Council and across the Integrated Care System.
You will make a difference by supporting the Council to deliver on its commitments to improve health and wellbeing and address health inequalities in our population. You will also undertake the 36-month Health Care Intelligence Specialist Level 7 Apprenticeship with training provider JGA Group, with 20% of your time dedicated to structured off-the-job training.
Alongside this, you will gain hands-on experience of data and will play a key role in the assessment of need within the North Somerset population, reviewing and generating evidence, supporting service evaluation, and promoting best practice in the collection and use of data.
