Are you a skilled Mechanical or Electrical Technician looking to join a high-profile engineering programme? We're seeking experienced Modification Technicians to carry out maintenance, repair, fault-finding and vehicle modification activities on modern passenger rolling stock as part of a major fleet upgrade project.

The Role

  • Planned modifications and upgrades
  • Maintenance, servicing and defect rectification
  • Testing, commissioning and fault diagnosis
  • Reading engineering drawings and schematics
  • Recording work through maintenance management systems
  • Supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence

Locations

Electrical Technicians: Eastleigh, Hampshire (SO50) - accommodation paid for London-based candidates

What We’re Looking For

  • Engineering Apprenticeship (Mechanical and/or Electrical)
  • NVQ Level 3 Engineering or equivalent
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic experience
  • Experience in maintenance, repair, overhaul or modification activities
  • Safety-focused approach with experience in a regulated engineering environment
