Location: West Bromwich, B70 9PL

Salary: £13.25 per hour plus 22% shift allowance for rotating shifts

Hours: 39 hours per week, working a rotating shift pattern:

  • Week 1: Monday - Thursday 6am - 2pm & Friday 6am - 1pm
  • Week 2: Monday - Thursday 2pm - 10pm & Friday 1pm - 8pm

Who we are looking for: Unistrut is looking for an experienced production welder to support our continued growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Welding our Unistrut range using Mig welders
  • Set up welding and supporting equipment
  • Be able to read 2D drawings
  • Produce parts at the correct rate and report any issues with achieving that rate
  • Take responsibility for the quality of the parts produced
  • Keep production and quality related records up to date
  • Ensure good levels of 5S are maintained in the area
  • Be involved in continuous improvement processes driving through improvements in all aspects of the role
  • Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed
  • Performs Other Duties as Assigned

What you bring:

  • A good knowledge of Production Mig Welding
  • Able to weld various metals including mild steel and pre-galv
  • Able to work as part of a team and as an individual
  • Motivation to beat targets safely and required quality standards
  • Ability to comply with and promote Atkore’s ATIRE and SQDC values
