We are seeking a reliable and diligent Cleaning Operative to cover staff holidays and absence in the West Bromwich area. The position is located at Atkore UK, which includes cleaning of warehouses and offices.
Working Hours:
- Monday-Friday
- Mornings - 4:30am-6:30am
- Afternoons - 2pm-3:30pm & 3pm-6:30pm
- Evenings - 5pm-7pm & 5:30pm-6:30pm
Duties:
- Carry out cleaning tasks in accordance with company standards, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of designated areas such as offices, washrooms, corridors, and communal spaces.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycling procedures are followed.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet rolls as required.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities to management promptly.
- Adhere to infection control protocols, especially when working within healthcare environments.
The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across a variety of commercial and healthcare environments.
