Sports Lecturer on a temporary basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality sports education, supporting students to develop the practical knowledge, skills and understanding required for further study and employment within the sports and fitness sector.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Sports teaching to Further Education students.
- Plan and deliver engaging theoretical and practical sports lessons.
- Deliver programmes across relevant Sport, Fitness and Physical Education subjects.
- Support students in developing their practical skills and theoretical knowledge.
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support progress.
- Monitor learner achievement and maintain accurate student records.
- Prepare teaching materials, schemes of work and assessments in line with curriculum requirements.
- Support students with their academic and professional development.
- Ensure safeguarding, equality, health and safety and other college policies are followed.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide an effective learning experience.
About You
We're looking for someone who has
- Relevant experience teaching
- Strong knowledge of sports, fitness and physical education principles.
- Experience delivering engaging theoretical and practical lessons to FE students.
- Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills.
- The ability to assess learner work and provide effective feedback.
- A passion for sport and supporting students to achieve their goals.
- A relevant teaching qualification and/or industry experience would be desirable.
Sport, Sports Studies, Fitness or a related subject within Further Education.
