About the Service

You’ll be leading a welcoming and established 7-bed residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, epilepsy and Down's syndrome. The people enjoy spending time in the community, maintaining relationships, participating in activities and living as independently as possible. This is a busy and engaging service where person-centred support is at the heart of everything we do. The service is fully occupied and benefits from strong relationships with families, professionals, commissioners, and the local community.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Registered Service Manager, you’ll:

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the service
  • Inspire, support and develop your team
  • Drive quality, governance and compliance standards
  • Develop and review person-centred support plans
  • Manage budgets and service performance
  • Complete audits, reports and quality assurance activities
  • Build positive relationships with families, local authorities and healthcare professionals
  • Ensure compliance with CQC, legislative and contractual requirements
  • Promote independence, choice and positive outcomes for the people we support

Who We’re Looking For

We're looking for a passionate and people-focused leader with experience in health and social care. Experience within learning disabilities and autism services would be highly desirable; however, we also welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in supported living, residential care, mental health, complex care, older people’s services, or similar care settings. Most importantly, we're seeking someone with strong leadership skills, a commitment to quality, and a genuine passion for helping people live fulfilling and meaningful lives. This opportunity would suit both experienced Registered Managers and ambitious Deputy or Service Managers who are ready to take the next step in their career.

What You’ll Need

  • Previous management experience within health or social care
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and quality frameworks
  • Passion for person-centred care
  • The ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Experience managing compliance, audits, budgets and service performance
