Job type: Permanent / Full time role

Shift and schedule for the Roadside Technician roleAverage 40 hours per week. Optional overtime is available to increase earnings. All hours start and stop from home, as soon as you start the van.

Job Responsibilities for the Roadside Technician role

  • Attend roadside breakdowns and emergency callouts.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle faults quickly and accurately.
  • Carry out roadside repairs, including batteries and tyres.
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and determine repair options.
  • Provide safe and efficient roadside assistance to customers.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and provide reassurance during breakdown situations.

What you’ll need to be considered for the Roadside Technician role

  • Must have a minimum Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification hands-on experience with vehicles.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • A customer-focused approach with good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a mobile environment.
  • Must have a Full UK Driving Licence.
