Do you have a strong interest in working with children and young people, their families and schools? Do you want to be part of a new service within Hertfordshire? Hertfordshire Community Trust has an exciting opportunity for dynamic individuals to support children and young people, their families and schools within the Experts at Hand Model.

We are looking for 4.5 WTE Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapists to bring skills and experience of working within schools. The successful candidates will also join our large and innovative team of therapists and assistants working within our community service.

You will work closely with the MDT and other agencies to deliver universal and targeted advice and support to children, young people and their families in a variety of school settings.

This is a permanent post based across Hertfordshire. The base will be agreed to meet service needs and demand. There might also be an opportunity for a proportion of their time to be home working (to be discussed with your manager).

In addition to the basic salary, some posts attract a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary subject to a minimum and a maximum payment per annum, pro rata where applicable, depending on base.

For this role you will need to have a full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010). Full time/part time working patterns/secondments will be considered.
