Our client is looking for compassionate and dedicated carers to join their vibrant team of Community Care Practitioners.

They do not provide visa sponsorships - please make sure you have your own right to work in the UK before applying.

Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving licence and access to a car is mandatory.

Our client is a domiciliary care company which has been proudly serving the community in Welwyn and Hatfield for over 10 years.

They are committed to providing stellar personalised care services and creating an environment of trust, comfort, independence, and dignity for their clients, supporting them to live their best lives in their own homes.

They are currently looking for Care Assistants who can work weekends in Welwyn Garden City and surrounding areas, to expand their team and increase their capacity to continue to deliver excellent care to all their clients.

Weekend Carers may be asked to take on morning, lunchtime, teatime, or evening rounds.

Responsibilities

  • Providing care and support to elderly clients in their own homes
  • Assisting clients with their medication, including administering it to them
  • Assisting clients with personal care
  • Incontinence care
  • Assisting with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
  • Interacting with clients and providing companionship
  • Enablement support - helping clients to be as independent as possible

Requirements

  • Full access to own car and full UK driving license
  • Previous experience working in domiciliary care
  • Care Certificate
  • Right to work in the UK - Holding valid visa, ILR or British Citizenship
  • Weekend availability
  • Care certificate and relevant experience is ESSENTIAL
  • Full PPE and uniform provided
  • Yearly training refreshers for all employees
