CIS Security have an exciting opportunity for a Welcome Host.

This role is ideal for someone with a 5-star hospitality approach and a natural ability to deliver exceptional service in a luxury environment.

As a Welcome Host, you will provide a warm, professional, and memorable front-of-house and security presence for high-net-worth residents and guests.

This is an external position, requiring you to be visible and proactive across the courtyard and atrium areas, ensuring every arrival is greeted with confidence, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality.

You will be the first point of contact on one of West London’s most iconic mixed-use developments, supporting smooth access, offering clear guidance, and upholding the exceptional standards expected within a super-prime residential and lifestyle setting.

  • Job Requirements
  • SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding License required.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within super-prime residential developments, luxury hospitality, or high-profile mixed-use environments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills – all logs, reports, and correspondence must reflect a premium standard.
  • Excellent customer service skills and an understanding of service expectations in a luxury residential setting.
  • This role includes regular external duties, requiring you to stand and patrol outside for extended periods while maintaining a welcoming presence for all visitors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service.
  • A friendly, professional, courteous, and outgoing character.
  • To always take pride in your appearance, ensuring immaculate presentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong situational awareness and understanding of Hostile Reconnaissance behaviours.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong understanding of visitor engagement.

  • Job Responsibilities
  • Meeting and greeting, providing a warm 5-star greeting, ensuring all receive VIP treatment.
  • Welcome Hosts needed to be the part of the wider security team, that is the face of the companies we represent.
  • To ensure that all business needs are met, and that the company’s reputation is enhanced through the provision of exemplary reception, bookings, and concierge services.
  • To always portray a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language.
  • To be articulate and well informed and to ensure that customers and visitors’ needs pre-empted, met, and exceeded.
  • Job Duties
  • To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently and ensure that an exceptional high standard of customer service is always provided, personally taking responsibility for their requests to ensure that they are completed, if not exceeding, their expectations.
  • To always ensure great teamwork both within and outside the department, always demonstrating a “can do” approach and solutions, supporting your colleagues and new starters through their probation periods.
  • To maintain and actively utilise a portfolio of information to assist with customer queries, such as transport, restaurants, and shops.
  • Report suspicious items or activity immediately.
  • Welcome and guide guests through the venue.
  • Oversee crowd control and public safety.
  • Greet and direct visitors appropriately.
  • Monitor visitor access and verify credentials.
  • Collaborate with reception, building management and all service partners.
  • Remain alert to protestor action and escalated activity immediately.
  • Monitor access control systems.
  • Respond to alarms and incidents.
  • Carry out regular checks of the site to ensure all areas remain clean & tidy, escalating to the correct department any discrepancies immediately.
  • Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations.
  • To assist in any other reasonable duties as required.
