The home features spacious communal areas set over two floors and specializes in providing high-quality care for elderly residents living with age-related illnesses, including Dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Key Responsibilities
- Personalized Care: Provide high-quality physical, hygiene, and mobility assistance while strictly following individualized care plans.
- Daily Routines: Assist residents comfortably through their morning and evening routines, ensuring they feel safe and supported.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Keep accurate logs of resident condition updates, fluid intakes, and overall wellbeing.
- Companionship: Act as a warm, positive, and supportive presence in the residents' daily lives.
- Home Maintenance: Complete basic housekeeping and domestic duties to maintain a clean, comfortable living environment.
- Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety standards and requirements of the home.
- What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) or Care Worker.
- A self-motivated individual who can think on their feet and adapt quickly.
- Exceptional empathy and patience, particularly with Dementia and Alzheimer's care.
- Reliability and a commitment to weekend schedules.
To demonstrate your experience and suitability for the role of Healthcare Assistant you will need:
- An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
- Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training
- A Referenceable work history
- At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this.
We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
