Pre-Press Operative- Temporary with the potential of a Permanent contract
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a dynamic printing team based in Watton, with the chance to secure a permanent contract after a successful probationary period.
What is the role?
You will be supporting a cutting-edge printing company with their production as a Pre-Press Print Technician.
Your duties will include
- Prepare print-ready files from customer-supplied artwork, ensuring correct formats, resolutions, and lead edge requirements
- Creating job sheets and imposition creation in accordance with job specification
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the print studio area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and client deadlines
- Adhere to health and safety protocols within the print environment
- General upkeep of digital print equipment
- General upkeep of warehouse and facilities
- Artwork amends using Adobe Creative cloud Software
- Creation of core labels using Microsoft Office Software
Assist in setting up, operating, and maintaining digital printing machines and finishing equipment
Support the team with packaging, labelling, and preparing completed orders for delivery or collection
Hours
Monday- Friday 8:30-16:30pm.
Pay
Starting from £15 per hour, depending on experience
What we are looking for
Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
A highly motivated and enthusiastic individual.
Experience in a production role (desirable not essential).
