Duties as Maths Teacher:
- Deliver engaging maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school policies
- Support pupils’ learning and progress during short-term cover
- Manage behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning atmosphere
- Liaise with school staff to ensure continuity and consistency
- Provide feedback on pupil engagement and lesson outcomes
Ideal Maths Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience teaching maths in secondary schools
- Flexibility and confidence to work in different schools and year groups
- Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Maths Teacher
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff
