Band 6 - Community Midwife, Women's and Children's
You will provide antenatal and postnatal care in hospital /community clinics and womens homes and will be required to participate in the community on call service to support women birthing at home and the trust escalation process. You will provide a full range of perinatal care, including health education, liaising with multi-disciplinary/agency groups to continually improve maternity care for women and their families. You will be responsive to the needs of the women and obtain user views as appropriate. You will be required to support student midwives and junior members of staff as we guide and encourage them through their professional development. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and compassionate midwife with excellent communication and time management skills.
