UCLH is recruiting a Waste & Energy Manager (Band 8A) to lead Trust-wide utilities (energy & water), waste and environmental data management. This role is central to delivering efficiency, financial stability and accurate reporting across a large, complex, multi-site estate.

You will own the Trust’s three pillars of delivery:

  • Utilities – drive performance through robust metering, monitoring & targeting, invoice validation and actionable insights;
  • Waste Management – assure complete and compliant waste service, waste data, reduce costs and improve segregation and recycling;
  • Environmental Data & Reporting – lead the annual ERIC return and provide high-quality reporting to key stakeholders including Estates & Facilities leadership, Sustainability & Energy Boards and Trust Board.

We’re looking for an analytically strong, improvement-focused professional with experience in utilities/waste management, excellent stakeholder skills and a proven track record turning data into measurable savings. You’ll collaborate with our Sustainability team while keeping efficiency, finance and data assurance as your primary focus.

Base: John Astor House. Hours: 37.5 per week.
