A leader in the life sciences sector is seeking a Manufacturing Operator II to join their production team on a 12-month contract basis. Operating from a modern manufacturing facility in Warrington, the organisation supports the development and delivery of products that play a vital role in improving health outcomes worldwide.

Your new role

As a Manufacturing Operator II, you will be responsible for supporting packaging and production activities within a regulated manufacturing environment. Your duties will include:

  • Assembly of packaging components including boxes, inserts and labels
  • Ensuring products are packaged accurately and securely in line with SOPs
  • Applying correct product and regulatory labels
  • Carrying out quality checks and inspections to ensure compliance with established standards
  • Identifying defects, errors or inconsistencies and escalating where required
  • Working in line with health, safety and GMP requirements
  • Wearing appropriate PPE and completing gowning and de-gowning procedures
  • Supporting the wider manufacturing team to ensure production targets are met

What you'll need to succeed

  • High School Diploma, Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, operations, laboratory or a related environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Experience within a cGMP environment would be advantageous
  • Experience working in a clean room environment would be beneficial
  • Experience handling hazardous materials would be desirable
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work
