We're looking for a Land & Partnerships Officer to join our team at Torus Developments. Supporting the Land & Partnerships Manager, you'll help identify new development opportunities, assist with site feasibility and due diligence work, and contribute to building strong relationships with partners and stakeholders. You'll also work collaboratively with teams across the business to support the progression of strategic developments that align with Torus' vision and business objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in housing, development, property or construction who is looking to broaden their knowledge of land, partnerships and development and contribute to a programme delivering more than 1,400 homes every year.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting the identification, appraisal and acquisition of land opportunities for residential development
- Assisting with land negotiations, Head of Terms, option agreements and site acquisitions
- Helping to develop partnerships with Local Authorities, Homes England and other key stakeholders
- Supporting development feasibility, viability assessments and pre-contract activities
- Coordinating consultants and professional advisors across development projects
- Preparing reports, presentations and development approval submissions
- Managing project administration, purchase orders and payment processes
- Monitoring development performance and key project milestones
- Building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to support successful project delivery
- Promoting value for money, compliance and continuous improvement across all activities
What we're looking for:
- Experience working within a housing, property, construction or development environment
- Understanding of development viability, feasibility, and the pre-contract development process
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Experience coordinating projects and supporting procurement and consultant appointments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, organisational and administrative abilities
- A proactive, motivated and collaborative approach with a passion for delivering new homes and communities
- Full UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle and valid business insurance
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a competency-based interview focusing on development experience, stakeholder engagement, project coordination and commercial awareness. Interviews will take place at our Warrington Bank Park office week commencing 10th August 2026.
