Due to high demand we have vacancies for a Qualified Nursery Practitioner at our Warrington setting.

The job role would consist of working full time within a strong team, caring for children aged from 4 months - 4 years, working closely with parents and carers and other professionals from multi agency's.

Our employee salary range is based on your skills, competence on the job and previous nursery experience or qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the setting.
  • To give support to other personnel in the setting.
  • To implement the daily routine in the room.
  • To work together as a team supporting each other for the benefit of the children.
  • Liaise with Parent’s and Carer’s sharing information about their child’s development
  • Implement the EYFS, support the staff team by completing observations and link these to the Birth to Five Framework and the company A B C program
  • AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY - Operational Responsibilities
  • With your staff team, deliver and teach a program of exciting play opportunities and activities suitable to the age range and developmental needs of the children in your room which will motivate their learning and integration within the setting.
  • To ensure that a caring and stimulating environment is provided for children that considers individual developmental needs and enables children to reach their full potential
  • Keep well-informed of legislation, guidelines and policies to ensure the Children’s Act and the Early Years Foundation Stage Welfare Requirements are always met.
  • Support all staff and engage in the development of a strong, knowledgeable staff team.
  • To be flexible within working practices of the setting.

Be prepared to help where needed, including undertaking certain domestic jobs within the setting, e. g., preparation of snacks, meals, cleaning of rooms and equipment, etc.

  • Work alongside the management and staff team to ensure that the philosophy behind the company is fulfilled.
  • Ensure children are collected by someone known to the setting.
  • To always ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
  • To ensure that the setting conforms to and exceeds the requirements of Ofsted.
  • To ensure that the setting consistently meets the requirements set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage to a minimum good standard.
  • To uphold and ensure a high standard of care in the setting.
  • To help and support students on placement.
  • To implement and maintain the company’s Equality and Inclusion policy ensuring that children, parents and the staff team are valued, and practice is positive and non-discriminatory.
  • To give daily feedback to the manager about the setting including any complaints received or any situation that may be detrimental to the company.
  • Prepare the setting for Ofsted inspections and action any recommendations made by the inspector ensuring a minimum good grade is awarded.
