Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to recruit full-time Business Engagement Officer’s to identify, develop and maximise relationships with employers, securing industry placements and curriculum enhancement opportunities that enrich the student experience.

The role will work closely with curriculum teams and employers to plan and embed innovative, challenging learning opportunities, and will actively seek out new ways to connect students with industry and employer expertise.

We have a fixed term contract and permanent contract available.

We are looking for individuals with strong transferable skills who can build positive relationships and communicate effectively with a wide range of people.

The successful candidate will be confident in influencing and engaging others, with experience or an aptitude for sales, business development and identifying new opportunities.

You will be a strong team player, able to work collaboratively while also taking ownership of your own workload and delivering results.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to adapt to different situations and build effective relationships with employers and stakeholders.

Knowledge or experience of the further education, skills or publicly funded training sector would be advantageous, but is not essential, as the relevant sector knowledge can be developed within the role.
