Fawkes & Reece are working with a well-known housebuilder to recruit an experienced Assistant Site Manager to support on a large 200-unit timber frame residential development in Warrington on a long-term basis. Working as a key part of the site management team, you will assist with the day-to-day delivery of high-quality timber frame homes, ensuring plots are progressed safely, efficiently and in line with programme targets and health and safety requirements.
This is a great opportunity to work alongside a strong management team with a reputable contractor. Prior experience working on a timber frame housing development is crucial to perform well within this role.
Main Duties will consist of:
- Assisting the site team with the day-to-day running of the development, overseeing multiple plots and ensuring the timber frame build progresses safely and in line with the agreed programme.
- Responsible for ensuring timber frame structures are installed in accordance with drawings, specifications and manufacturer requirements, helping to identify and prevent potential issues on site.
- Carrying out regular site inspections, ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to and all workmanship is completed to a high standard.
- Particular focus on the timber frame installation and external build of each plot, ensuring the structural integrity and weather-tightness of each home is maintained throughout the build.
- Ensuring plots progress within the targeted programme from timber frame installation, through the external envelope, first fix, second fix and finishing stages.
- Assisting with snagging and handover, maintaining high standards of workmanship and site presentation to ensure customer satisfaction.

- SSSTS
- First Aid (ideal but not essential)
