Care Connection are recruiting, experienced Support workers, to support our clients in the Warminster area!
As an Agency Support Worker, you will be working across a variety of supported living services in the area, supporting individuals with varying support needs, from those with autism, learning difficulties and behaviours that may challenge to individuals who may require extra support around their mental health needs.
The aim at this particular service is to deliver a better life for those severely affected by mental illness.
Here you will support individuals living with mental illness to keep safe and well in the community.
You will help each individual to maintain their independence and establish a sense of belonging in the community.
You will support each service user in a person-centred way, always promoting choice as your number one priority, and enabling each individual to be as independent as possible and live their lives to the fullest.
This is a temporary, ad hoc role, you will be supporting staffing gaps due to sickness and holidays.
Shifts here can be variable between 07.00-22.00 and can include sleep in shifts.
Job Role
A Support Worker is required to deliver support within an adult's health or social care environment, supporting with daily living tasks or development of new skills.
The tasks may be one to one with an adult or with other support workers or health professionals, they may be provided within the home and garden itself or outside in the community, equipment may be required for moving and handling or health tasks.
A support plan on site must be followed for completion of tasks, safety, client communication and any end-of-life instruction where relevant
