Key Responsibilities

  • Operating tractors coupled with water bowsers (dust suppression), trailer towing (muck-away / materials), sweeping attachments, or ground implements.
  • Running water bowsers for dust suppression across haul roads and active work areas (crucial during summer/dry weather months).
  • Transporting equipment, aggregates, spoil, and site supplies around the complex safely.
  • Daily operator checks (oil, hydraulics, tyre pressure, lights) and keeping daily defect sheets.
  • Adhering strictly to site traffic management plans, speed limits, and site health & safety rules.
  • Required Qualifications and experience
  • Valid CPCS or NPORS Card
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Category B or Category F for Tractors / C1/C if road travel is involved).
  • Minimum 2-3+ years operating medium-to-large tractors on active civils, construction, earthworks, or large estate projects.
  • Experience pulling towed plant (bowsers, dump trailers, flatbeds) in tight space environments.
