We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join the school from November 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Upper Key Stage 2 practitioner who can build positive relationships, maintain high expectations, and successfully guide pupils through their SATs preparation.
Your new role
As the Year 6 Teacher, you will
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire and motivate learners
- Support pupils through their SATs preparation and examinations
- Adapt and personalise existing planning to suit your teaching style and the needs of the class
- Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress effectively
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team
- Benefit from dedicated PPA time to support your workload
- What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
- Experience preparing pupils for SATs and securing positive outcomes
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to adapt planning and deliver high-quality lessons
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive and positive approach to teaching
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain o
