Hays Education is working with a secondary school in Walsall that is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to support students within its Alternative Provision.
This is a funded role supporting young people who may be struggling to access mainstream education due to social, emotional or behavioural barriers.

The Opportunity
You’ll be supporting students who may have
- SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs
- ADHD

- Supporting students on a one-to-one basis
- Working with small intervention groups
- Helping pupils engage positively with learning
- Acting as a positive role model throughout the school day
- Supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing

- Helping students develop confidence both inside and outside the classroom
