Your new role
As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will have responsibility for a small group of key children within the pre-school provision.
You will support their learning and development through engaging activities, observations and assessments, ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive.
Your responsibilities will include
- Supporting a small group of key children within the pre-school setting
- Monitoring, tracking and reporting on children's progress and development
- Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS Framework
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Completing observations and maintaining accurate learning records
- Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
- Supporting children's social, emotional and educational development
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience working with pre-school-aged children
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework
- Experience carrying out observations and assessments
- A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS
