The post holder will be responsible for managing the Medics E Rostering team and providing comprehensive support to all key staff involved in rostering including colleagues within medical staffing, clinical and operational staff as required.

This role requires an ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines, manage a team member and fully engage with the Trust clinical workforce to support the understanding and adaptation to the effective use of e-Rostering tools. The rostering of medical staff and the creation of compliant effective rotas is imperative, without which the Trust cannot function effectively.

The Trust is a busy district general hospital offering a complete range of acute services, alongside extensive community services. A new Urgent Emergency Care Centre was opened in March 2023, significantly improving emergency care facilities and capacity and providing almost 5,000 square metres of additional clinical space.

Our strategy is aligned to delivering exceptional care together while supporting a workforce that reflects the communities we serve. We offer clear career development pathways, access to training and education, and opportunities to contribute to service innovation and improvement.

The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, support and maintenance of the Trust's Allocate workforce management systems, ensuring users receive a responsive and effective support service. The role will deliver training to staff, develop and maintain user guidance, assist with testing and upgrades, and produce routine and ad-hoc reports to support workforce management and operational decision-making. The post holder will liaise with the system supplier to facilitate issue resolution and ensure that system changes and updates are implemented effectively.
