Shifts: Friday & Sunday Nights, 9:30pm - 7:30am

Driver Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence (able to drive a transit-sized vehicle)

About the role

We're looking for a compassionate Female Waking Night Support Worker to join our team in Burghfield Common (RG7), supporting six adults aged between their 50s and 80s with learning disabilities, Down syndrome, mental health needs and behaviours of distress. This is a warm and friendly service where the people we support enjoy music, jigsaws, arts and crafts, making jewellery, cinema trips, walks and dancing. They have great senses of humour and thrive with support from people who are kind, patient and engaging.

As a waking night colleague, you'll help ensure people feel safe, comfortable and supported throughout the night. The role includes personal care, medication administration and supporting a number of individuals who use wheelchairs when accessing the community. Some individuals also have SALT guidelines in place which you'll be supported to follow.

You'll be part of a dedicated team that takes pride in delivering person-centred support and creating a positive environment where people can continue to live fulfilling lives.
