Our client, a nationally recognised accident repair specialist, is seeking a highly experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their team in Wakefield. - Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a half-hour break

Duties of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:
- Conduct detailed inspections of damaged vehicles, accurately assessing the extent of damage
- Prepare comprehensive repair estimates, utilising Audatex confidently
- Determine the most appropriate prescribed repair method
- Liaise effectively with insurance companies to agree repair scopes and costs
- Record and maintain manual and electronic estimates accurately
- Collaborate closely with technicians and other team members to ensure understanding of repair procedures
- Monitor repair progress and update clients and insurance companies accordingly
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures
Requirements of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:
- NVQ or ATA qualification in Vehicle Damage Assessment or equivalent
- Significant experience as a VDA/Estimator within the motor industry
- Proficiency in using Audatex software
- Ability to meet tight deadlines with high attention to detail
- Full UK Driving License
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
