The successful candidate will provide a high standard of bar service, prepare and serve beverages efficiently, and ensure guests receive a welcoming and enjoyable experience.
You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked bar area.

- Key Duties
- Prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to hotel standards.
- Provide friendly, professional and efficient service to all guests.
- Take orders accurately and process payments when required.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the bar and service areas.
- Keep bar equipment, glassware and work areas clean and ready for service.
- Monitor stock levels and report replenishment requirements to the supervisor.
- Follow responsible alcohol service practices and all hotel procedures.
- Respond to guest requests and queries in a professional and helpful manner.
- Work closely with the restaurant and wider hotel team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Follow all health, safety, hygiene and licensing requirements.
Requirements
- Previous bartending or bar-service experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Friendly, professional and confident approach.
- Ability to remain organised and work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Basic knowledge of beverage preparation and bar service.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Reliable, punctual and well-presented.
- Previous experience within a hotel, restaurant, pub or wider hospitality environment.
- Experience using a till or POS system. Knowledge of cocktails and beverage presentation.
