Our client is looking for full time trade plate drivers, on a contracted self-employed basis. Immediate starts available for the right candidate. As a trade plate driver you will collect and deliver new and used vehicles all over the UK in a timely and professional manner.
Part of your duties will be accurately appraising the vehicle before collection, noting any existing damage through the app used by our client for their customers’ vehicles, so attention to detail is paramount.
For your application to be considered there needs to be certain criteria met:
- You must be of smart appearance, be disciplined and organised and possess excellent interpersonal skills for when dealing with customers and throughout your working day.
- Hold a full UK Licence with no more than 6 active penalty points and does not include the following active penalty codes: DD, DG, DR, IN, MS or TT.
- You must also not have been disqualified from driving in the past 3 years.
- Be eligible to work in the UK.
- The last vehicle you collect in the day (carryover) is taken home to deliver early the next working day, so having off-road parking at your home address is required.
- You must be able to demonstrate a good level of customer care and courtesy when dealing with clients at all levels.
- Being 'Tech Savvy' and having a knowledge of using mobile apps is essential to assist in daily success of completing your daily workload efficiently.
This role would be suitable to most experienced delivery drivers, especially those with good planning and organisational skills. This is a Monday to Friday role with often early starts before 6am and sometimes late finishes.
To use Vehicle Appraisal Apps, driver will need to use their own ANDROID device. Full office support is provided during office hours with Out Of Hours Emergency support.
