As a Sonographer, you will provide high quality vascular ultrasound services, performing a range of examinations to support the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of patients across a variety of clinical specialities.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver accurate, patient-centred care while maintaining the highest professional standards.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Setting up and maintaining ultrasound equipment
- Performing ultrasound examinations on patients
- Producing images resulting from the ultrasound examinations
- Interpreting ultrasound images to aid patient diagnosis
- Carrying out training on ultrasound equipment for other healthcare professionals
- Addressing patients' concerns before, during and after ultrasound examinations
- Keeping up to date records of scans performed and images produced
- Referring patients to other healthcare professionals and facilities, when necessary
- Soothing and reassuring nervous or anxious patients
Who We Are Looking For
- Relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound/Sonography or equivalent recognised qualification.
- 2 experiences working as a Sonographer within a clinical or hospital environment.
Skills
- In-depth understanding of the principles of medicine and healthcare
- Knowledge of human physiology and anatomy
- Working knowledge of transducers and other ultrasound equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to stand for long hours
- Thoroughness and attention to detail
