Lecturer in Uniformed Public Services to a college in the Kidderminster area from September.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Uniformed Public Services Lecturer or teacher to join the college on a temporary basis.
The Role
You will primarily be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality teaching across Uniformed Public Services programmes.
There may also be opportunities to deliver some Sport teaching, depending on experience and the needs of the department.
You will be responsible for
- Planning and delivering engaging Uniformed Public Services lessons.
- Supporting students to achieve their learning and development goals.
- Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues within the curriculum area.
- Potentially supporting the delivery of Sport where appropriate.
About You
The successful candidate will have
- Experience teaching Uniformed Public Services.
- A recognised teaching qualification is preferred.
- The ability or experience to teach Sport would be desirable.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting students and delivering high-quality education.
- Enhanced DBS.
