Trust Doctor (eqv to ST3+) in Urology | Barts Health NHS Trust

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated ST3+ level Urology trainee or equivalent overseas-trained urologist to join a high-volume tertiary Urology Unit at The Royal London Hospital.

The post is designed to provide advanced clinical and operative experience in Robotic Urology, Upper Tract Surgery, Endourology and minimally invasive techniques while contributing to a busy emergency and elective urology service.

The successful candidate will work closely with nationally recognised consultants in robotic and upper tract surgery and will gain structured exposure to robotic-assisted pyeloplasty, partial nephrectomy, radical nephrectomy, nephroureterectomy and reconstructive procedures using the Da Vinci Xi robotic platform.

The fellowship offers opportunities to develop operative autonomy, participate in multidisciplinary cancer care, undertake clinical research, contribute to quality improvement initiatives and gain experience in leadership, education and service development.

The post is initially for 12 months with the possibility of extension to 24 months by mutual agreement.
