Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician seeking a new challenge within a reputable main dealership? Our client, a well-established dealership specialising in passenger cars, is actively looking to recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their professional team in Truro, Cornwall. This position offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your technical expertise within a supportive environment that values quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Benefits include:
- Competitive basic salary of up to £32,000 per annum
- OTE of approximately £36,000 inclusive of performance bonuses
- Working hours Monday to Friday, typically between 8:00 am and 5:30 pm, with some shifts ending at 5:00 pm or 5:30 pm
- Only one in four Saturdays, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, paid as part of the salary

Duties of the Vehicle Technician include:
- Servicing and repairing a wide range of passenger cars to manufacturer standards
- Diagnosing vehicle faults and performing diagnostic tests
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Accurate completion of all service reports, job cards, and documentation
- Working efficiently to meet workshop productivity targets
- Contributing positively to team goals and dealership reputation
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
- Minimum of two years’ workshop experience within a dealership or similar environment
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Motivated to deliver top-quality service and customer care
- Previous dealership experience is highly desirable
