We are currently recruiting for Waste Collection Van Drivers to join a busy and growing environmental services team in Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking for ongoing, full-time work with the potential to secure a permanent position.
Shift Pattern: 07:30 - 17:00
Duties May Include:
- Assisting with commercial and domestic waste collection routes
- Loading and unloading waste and recycling materials safely and efficiently
- Working as part of a team to complete daily collection schedules
- Ensuring waste is handled in line with company procedures and environmental standards
- Keeping vehicles, equipment and work areas clean and tidy
- General yard duties and housekeeping tasks
- Sorting and organising waste and recyclable materials where required
- Following health and safety procedures at all times

- Reliable and hardworking individuals
- A good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the role
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexible approach to duties and working environments
- Previous experience within waste management, labouring, warehouse, driving or outdoor work would be advantageous but is not essential
