Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert financial advice to senior leaders, supporting informed decision-making and financial resilience.
- Lead finance business partnering across designated service areas, delivering robust budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management.
- Support the development and delivery of the Medium-Term Financial Strategy (MTFS).
- Lead financial input into major transformation programmes, service redesigns, and strategic initiatives.
- Oversee capital programmes, external funding, grants, and investment activity.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing Finance at key boards and committees.
- Lead and develop finance teams, promoting a high-performance and customer-focused culture.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial management, governance, systems, and processes.
