Senior Accounting Technician needed in Truro. This is a temporary role and the rate is £25.00ph PAYE.
The successful candidate will provide the day-to-day financial support for preparing monthly management accounts, monthly forecasting and reporting to budget managers – across capital and revenue. Responsibilities include:
- Income monitoring, reserve levels, payment performance, review of budgets and full cost recovery.
- Working with budget managers to ensure budgets are understood, reviewed and reflect spend areas.
- Providing variance analysis and meeting regularly (monthly) with budget managers.
- Preparing financial statement of accounts and assisting the finance manager to complete statutory accounts.
- Liaising with internal and external auditors.
This is a varied role and will suit someone who is organised and wishes to progress their finance career.
