Rooted in our mission “to provide outstanding education for our communities, where everyone succeeds,” our Trust places people, professional trust and partnership at the heart of our work. We have built a reputation for developing staff, sharing best practice and securing strong outcomes for young people.

As we look ahead to the next phase of our journey, following the planned retirement of our long-serving CEO, we are seeking an exceptional leader to build on our success and help shape an ambitious future for our schools and communities. The Chief Executive Officer is the Trust’s senior executive leader, responsible for overall performance, sustainability and future development. Working with the Trust Board and Executive Team, the CEO will provide strategic direction, ensuring educational excellence, operational effectiveness and financial stewardship remain closely aligned.

Leading improvement across all schools, the successful candidate will safeguard the Trust’s values-driven culture while strengthening partnerships, enhancing our profile and positioning the organisation for future opportunities. As Accounting Officer, they will also ensure the highest standards of governance and accountability.

We are seeking an accomplished and values-led leader with a strong track record beyond a single setting. You will bring experience of driving organisational improvement, developing high-performing teams and delivering sustained excellence across diverse educational environments. With strong strategic insight, sound judgement and the ability to build confidence with a wide range of stakeholders, you will combine expertise in school improvement, governance and financial accountability with a deep commitment to improving outcomes and life chances for children and young people. This is an opportunity for an ambitious and collaborative leader who is motivated by purpose, committed to excellence and ready to lead a thriving Trust into its next chapter of success.

The Roseland Multi Academy Trust is proud to be an inclusive, equal-opportunity employer and we welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates, regardless of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, marriage or civil partnership.

Due to the upcoming retirement of our CEO, we seek a new CEO who will build on strong foundations to lead our ambitious family of schools into its next chapter. The Roseland Trust has strong community roots, and the appointee will shape the next phase of our Trust’s development through deep collaboration, high expectations and sustained improvement.

The CEO will be accountable for the overall performance, growth and sustainability of the Trust, ensuring that all children and young people benefit from exceptional educational experiences and outcomes. Working closely with the Executive Team and Trust Board, the CEO will lead and execute our compelling vision, translating strategy into coherent, high-impact practice across all settings.

The role combines system leadership, leadership of leaders, and organisational stewardship, ensuring that educational quality, operational effectiveness and financial sustainability are aligned and mutually reinforcing. As Accounting Officer, the CEO is directly accountable for the proper use of public funds and for ensuring the highest standards of governance, compliance and integrity.

The Roseland Multi Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and expects all staff to share this commitment. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families and carers has a role to play in safeguarding children.
