Principal Project Manager needed in Totnes. This is a temporary role and the rate is £25.54ph PAYE. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within the Capital Delivery and Infrastructure Team, leading the delivery of a diverse portfolio of capital projects across South Hams and West Devon.

They will build strong networks and effective working relationships with officers and stakeholders to ensure projects align with key corporate ambitions set out in the Capital Delivery Plan, including priorities relating to housing, climate change, coastal engineering, environmental improvements and the wider estate.

They will manage multiple overlapping projects with flexibility and professionalism, undertaking regular site visits, inspections, surveys and locality-based meetings, often at short notice, to maintain oversight of progress and resolve issues promptly. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, clear communication, and the ability to drive forward complex programmes that support strategic outcomes across both regions.
