The successful candidate will have gained their knowledge and experience from working on a variety of different projects within the construction/maintenance industry. Within this role, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of planned, reactive, maintenance and project carpentry works across the council’s asset portfolio. You will be expected to maintain a commitment to safety, accuracy and excellence in all tasks.
Either working alone under your own initiative or as an important part of a larger team on project work, we ask that applicants have a flexible approach to their workday to meet the demands of the role. A driving licence is essential as you will be working in both South Hams and West Devon. In return, we will provide you with a vehicle, tools and equipment, uniform, training as standard and a 37hr Monday to Friday working week.
