Step Teachers is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant (Wellbeing Mentor) for a full-time role in Torquay starting September 2026.

The post supports pupils’ emotional well-being, behaviour and engagement with learning, in close collaboration with teachers and pastoral staff.

The ideal candidate will have experience with SEND, a calm, empathetic and resilient approach, and strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with pupils and colleagues.
