- Overview
Deliver high‑quality primary care by improving access, outcomes and patient experience at Operose Health.
This role supports the practice’s operational plan and contributes to continuous quality improvement.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care to patients registered and attending the GP surgery, including in‑person and video consultations, telephone triage, correspondence, results, medication reviews, prescription signing and other clinical administration.
- Lead safeguarding, medicals, reports, home visits, surgery meetings and on‑call duties within the practice (excluding out‑of‑hours).
- Maintain high clinical standards, participate in clinical governance, audits, QOF, CQC and other quality frameworks.
- Work with the Practice Manager and site clinical lead to develop, deliver and review the surgery’s action plan, covering list growth, patient satisfaction, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets, resource profile and cost management.
Qualifications
- Current registration with the GMC and NHS performers list.
- Experience as a GP, MRCGP or equivalent accreditation.
- Commitment to quality, patient‑focused services, knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and appropriate coding.
- Proficiency in clinical systems such as Systm One or EMISweb preferred.
