Are you an experienced Sheet Metal Worker looking to join a growing manufacturing business with a reputation for engineering excellence? Our client is a specialist manufacturer supplying bespoke products to customers across the UK and internationally. Due to continued growth and investment, they are looking to recruit a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join their established production team in Staplehurst.
The Role
Working within a modern manufacturing facility, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality sheet metal components to customer specifications, ensuring accuracy, quality and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process. Key responsibilities include:
- Bending, forming, fabricating and finishing sheet metal components
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Deburring, drilling and carrying out general sheet metal duties
- Spot welding components where required
- Producing work to high quality standards and customer specifications
- Working safely within ISO 9001 quality procedures
We're looking for someone with:
- Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication or fine limit sheet metal work
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience with fabrication and sheet metal assemblies
- Competence in deburring, drilling and spot welding
- Experience working within an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment
- TIG welding experience
- LVD CNC press brake experience
- Power rollers or guillotine experience
