Do you want a future as a Scrub Practitioner in Orthopaedic Theatres? Working with internationally renowned surgeons in a Centre of Excellence with forward-thinking, highly skilled staff, currently providing a Monday to Friday structured service between the hours of 8-7pm with no on-call/bank holiday commitment.
Due to expansion and growth of services, opportunities are available at Wrightington Hospital for you to join a highly motivated, multi-disciplinary team as a scrub practitioner, delivering quality patient-centred care and patient safety throughout the patient pathway. You must be a registered Operating Department Practitioner / registered Nurse at Band 5; experience working within the theatre environment is preferable, however training is available. The ambition and desire to develop your skills within the theatre environment is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Developing sound clinical skills and competency within their defined field working without direct supervision to ensure the application of professional standards in all aspects of care delivery within the clinical environment.

Communications and Key Working Relationships

- Participate in ensuring the effective utilisation of all financial resources in providing and delivering the service.
