Our client, a busy accident repair bodyshop in Maidenhead, Berkshire, is seeking to appoint a Parts Advisor.
This Parts Advisor role offers an attractive starting salary of up to £30,000, negotiable based on experience.
The position operates Monday to Friday, with a Saturday rota, within a fast-paced and professional environment.

Duties of a Parts Advisor
- Promptly respond to customer and internal parts requests with courtesy and professionalism
- Provide advice and support to customers and colleagues regarding parts
- Assist with parts sales, promotions, and handle phone and email enquiries as a Parts Advisor
- Report stock damage or losses immediately to management
- Maintain a clean, well-organised work area in line with Health and Safety standards
- Develop strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Support inventory management and stock control processes
Requirements of a Parts Advisor
- Previous automotive parts experience is advantageous but not essential for trainees or motivated individuals
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
- IT proficiency and interest in automotive topics
- Full, clean driving licence (preferably with a valid driving licence)
- Physical capability to handle parts (DL preferred)
- Enthusiasm for learning and developing within the automotive sector
- Certifications in automotive or parts management are a plus but not essential
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience working within a parts department or automotive environment is desirable
- Trainees or individuals with a strong interest in automotive parts are encouraged to apply
- No prior experience necessary for individuals who demonstrate motivation and willingness to learn
