About the role

We’re looking for Food Service Assistants to join the opening team at an exciting new corporate workplace in Maidenhead (Opening October).

This is a brand-new, state-of-the-art and environmentally focused building, with a modern food offering designed around fresh, contemporary recipes and a high-quality workplace experience.

This is a varied role where no two days need to look exactly the same.

You’ll support food service, coffee shop operations and hospitality, helping us deliver an excellent experience to everyone using the site.

  • What you’ll do
  • Assist with food preparation and service while following food safety requirements.
  • Deliver friendly, professional customer service across the food service areas.
  • Support the coffee outlet, including preparing and serving drinks.
  • Operate tills and process payments accurately following training.
  • Set up hospitality events and support with event service and clear-downs.
  • Keep food service, front of house and kitchen areas clean and well presented.
  • Replenish kitchenettes, displays and other food and drink areas.
  • Receive and store catering deliveries safely.
  • Set up self-service coffee machines and maintain presentation standards.
  • Ensure catering waste is removed appropriately.
  • Follow food safety, allergen and health & safety procedures at all times.
  • What you’ll bring
  • Previous experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Experience working with food or in a food handling environment.
  • Experience using tills and taking payments.
  • Good communication skills and a confident approach with customers.
  • High standards of personal hygiene and presentation.
  • A genuine team-player mentality.
  • The ability to remain flexible and adapt to different service requirements.
