This is an exciting time of growth and change as our CAMHS service is currently working collaboratively with children and young people, and partners to deliver the Governments aspirations to increase access to prevention and early mental health support for children and young people.
To support the development of our Getting Help Team in Berkshire West, we are looking to recruit two qualified CWP’s, in West Berkshire and Wokingham.
We are open to both full and part time applicants for these roles but you must have a CWP qualification to apply.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified processional to complete assessments and deliver evidence-based early interventions for children and young people as well as parent interventions.
You will be working across education and community settings and healthcare sectors in England and to support a whole community approach to emotional health and wellbeing.
- To be trained and confident in the use of CYPMHprinciples, evidence-basedinterventionsand routine outcome measures.
- To care co-ordinate and manage a defined caseload of children and young people presenting with emotional health and wellbeing difficulties.
- To co-ordinate and deliver individualised care packages for children and young people and evaluate these programmes, ensuringhigh standardsof practicein accordance withnational guidelines and trust policy.
- Toprovidespecialist mental health advice, consultation and signpostingusing anoutcome-basedtriage model
- To provide training to school staff, other professionalsparents and carers in conjunction with colleagues.
- Supporting the promotion ofwholeschool basedapproach to developing andmaintainingemotional health and well-being.
- To train and mentor students and less experienced members of the team.
- To act as an autonomous practitioner with an understanding of own limitations and recognition of when to seek support.
